# Breadth of Knowledge

For every point of intelligence modifier, you gain a proficiency point. You may spend these points in two ways:
1. Gain proficiency in any skill, tool, or language for each point
2. Use 3 points to gain expertise in a skill you are already proficient.
# Damage Statuses
---
As a player character's, or an enemy's, health drops throughout combat, you will reach different breakpoints and acquire statuses. For the most part, these statuses will only be important when, either, the DM calls for them or the players are asking about the health of an enemy.
For example, if a players would want to know which of three goblins are most damaged. The DM can respond by stating that the first goblin is bloodied as a thematic shorthand.
Additionally, the Ire will begin to attempt grappling and siphoning the character's health. The amount of damage depending on the character's health status and the intensity of the Ire. The consequences of which, will be determined by the specific circumstance.
### Statuses
* Hurt - Less than 75% health.
* Injured - Less than 50% health.
* Bloodied - Less than 25% health.
# Fractured Milestone Level Ups

It is likely the characters will level up together at a milestone throughout the game. But as DM I reserve the right to award level ups asynchronously to each character depending on the narrative of the game.
Caveat, I will not leave any character behind more than one level. This is meant to provide each character a moment to shine. Not to punish people for "not roleplaying right". If you ever feel bad about your characters situation, please talk to me either after the game or through discord so we can resolve that.
# Potions
---
Two new actions are available to all characters. The actions are as follows
### _Hurried Potion_
As a bonus action, a character may consume a potion, rolling it's dice and taking the outcome.
### _Careful Potion_
As an action, a character may consume a potion and take the max value that potion could provide.
# Proficient Help
---
When using the help action, I require you have proficiency in the skill you are helping.
# Re-rolling Hit Dice
---
All players may re-roll 1s and 2s on Hit Dice whilst leveling up.
# Restless Adventures
---
## Full Rest
##### *Requirement*
24 Hours of no activity or light activity without any encounters in a proper bed.
##### *Benefit*
Recover all hit points as well as any benefit of a Long Rest
##### *Example*
Resting at an inn and taking the day to shop for some wares or study a tome.
## Long Rest
##### *Requirement*
4 Hours of no activity and 4 hours of light activity
##### *Benefit*
In order:
1. Roll any number of your remaining hit dice.
2. regain all hit dice.
##### *Example*
Sleeping in a bed roll in the forrest and taking watch.
## Short Rest
##### *Requirement*
10 minutes of no activity
##### *Benefit*
You may roll any number of hit dice.
##### *Example*
Sitting up against a wall or rock catching your breath.
# Resurrection Limitations

The revivify spell is banned.
All other resurrection spells have an additional requirement that necessitates that the subject still has their blood.
# Secret Death Saves
---
All death saves must be rolled secretly. Player's must either come roll death saves behind the DM screen or privately to themselves and show the outcome to anyone but, if they desire, the DM.
